At BCM Demolition Group, we are committed to carrying out all demolition and site clearance works in a manner that ensures the health and safety of our employees, clients, contractors, the public, and the environment.
Our goal is Zero Harm – no accidents, no injuries, and no environmental damage.
Health & Safety Commitment
Provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
Ensure all workers are trained in safe demolition practices, machinery handling, and protective equipment usage.
Conduct risk assessments before starting any demolition work to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Supply and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, boots, masks, safety vests, and eye protection.
Maintain equipment and machinery in safe working condition.
Prepare and implement emergency response plans for accidents, fire, structural collapse, or hazardous materials.
Environmental Responsibility
Follow all local laws, municipal guidelines, and national environmental standards for demolition projects.
Ensure safe removal, transport, and disposal of debris, avoiding pollution or public hazards.
Recycle and reuse demolition materials wherever possible (steel, wood, concrete, etc.).
Prevent air and noise pollution by using dust suppression techniques and noise control measures.
Handle hazardous materials (asbestos, chemicals, fuel, etc.) in compliance with environmental regulations.
Employee & Contractor Responsibilities
All employees and contractors must:
Follow BCM’s HSE guidelines and site-specific safety rules.
Report unsafe conditions, near misses, or incidents immediately.
Avoid unsafe practices that could endanger themselves or others.
Participate in regular safety training and toolbox talks.
Management Responsibilities
Provide leadership and resources to enforce HSE standards.
Ensure supervisors monitor compliance on-site at all times.
Continuously review and improve HSE practices based on new regulations, technologies, and industry best practices.
Hold regular audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance.
Public Safety
Secure all demolition sites with barriers, signage, and restricted access.
Ensure that surrounding properties and pedestrians are protected during demolition works.
Notify local authorities and stakeholders when carrying out major demolition projects.
